What's Next at Prelaw Primer

Growing with Student Interests

Prelaw Primer is designed to grow with students as their interests become clearer. As students begin to identify areas of law that genuinely interest them, future courses will offer opportunities to explore those fields in greater depth.

Rather than remaining broad, upcoming programs will allow students to engage more meaningfully with specific practice areas and skill development.

Deeper Exploration by Practice Area

Planned offerings include courses focused on specific areas of law, such as:

✦ Criminal law
✦ Business and transactional law
✦ Intellectual property

These courses will move beyond introductory material and provide more focused exploration for students ready to go further.

Pre–Mock Trial Preparation

A pre–mock trial preparation course is currently in development. This program will introduce students to:

✦ Rules of Evidence
✦ Foundational advocacy skills
✦ Case analysis
✦ Core concepts used in formal mock trial programs

This course is designed to help students build confidence and foundational skills before participating in official mock trial programs.

Currently in Development

All future courses are in development and will be released in phases as Prelaw Primer expands.
